As part of its efforts at establishing contacts with the Civil
Society NGOs across the globe, World Association of Non-Governmental
Organizations, WANGO at its recent Annual Conference in Washington DC, USA,
appointed NGOs from various countries as representatives to facilitate access
to the grassroots. NGO Guide 2000 now
serves as its representative in Nigeria.
To ease the cost of
communications, and secure registration fees, NGO Guide 2000 is
mandated to process registration for NGOs and individuals desiring to be WANGO
member.
The official membership fees
are US$30 for one year and US$600 for life. The following items
will be made available to each member on registration

Executive Committee is reviewing the current fees and the new one will take
effect from January 2003. The current fees are subsidized to encourage
grassroots involvement particularly in developing nations.
